This fantasy cartography was requested to be in the style of my older maps, so I cracked out my most ancient Photoshop brush set that I made a long time ago and got to work in Photoshop to mimic the style of my ancient maps.
What do you think? Does it remind you of my old work, such as the Map of Vernguard?
Personally, I prefer to hand draw my mountains now instead of using my old pencil drawn stamp set, but it does create a specific look! I also used some of KMAlexander’s brushes adapted from historical maps to stay true to the Photoshop fantasy cartography stamp style.
