Fantasy Cartography of an Asian Region

This fantasy map region is done in an Asian style, relatively close up, to show the fields and valley. Symbols are based on the art of the Hmong people, to create a south-east Asian feeling to the valley. I developed a new technique for trees and this is by far the most extensive work I’ve done on doing tiered rice fields! I find it aesthetically appealing but it’s uncommonly requested on a fantasy map.
