A wedding gift map celebrating a marriage between two people who met and live in California

This map was commissioned by a friend of the happy couple, who wanted a realistic map with accurate terrain details. By implementing several datasets, digital elevation data and more, we were able to get to this map!

Precipitation data from the WorldClim v1.4 database (Hijmans et al. 2005) have been used in the
spatial format as provided by BasinATLAS/RiverATLAS v1.0 (Linke et al. 2019)
and as provided by LakeATLAS v1.0 (Lehner et al. 2022).
